The Role
As the Communications Manager, you will spearhead our communication strategies, shaping how we convey our brand vision and values to our local and national audiences. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement effective communication strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that promote Tech Innovations Inc. and its products/services.
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization; manage media relations and respond to inquiries from journalists and other media outlets.
- Lead social media strategy, content creation, and engagement efforts across platforms to bolster our online presence.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align public relations and marketing initiatives, ensuring a cohesive brand message.
- Create engaging and informative internal communications to keep employees informed and connected.
- Organize events, workshops, and promotional activities that highlight our community initiatives and corporate social responsibility efforts.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze public sentiment to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare presentations, speeches, and other briefing materials for company executives.
- Train staff on communication best practices and crisis communication protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful communication campaigns and media management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling stories.
- Experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of the technology industry is a plus.
